Bitch
Yasmine was imported to us from Slovakia in 2005 as a puppy of 11 months. The change from the environment where she was raised to our busy, family household could have been a difficult transition, but she surprised us all and settled remarkably easily. This is really a testament to her calm, easy- going nature and her ability to "take things in her stride". She is a very placid and affectionate girl; rarely bothered by anything except the vacuum cleaner! Dispite her size she is quite athletic and enjoys playing with other dogs when she can put on spectacular bursts of speed. She has naturally taken to pulling loads and will make an enthusiastic carting dog. She also likes using her brain and attends training classes where she is currently working towards her Kennel Club Good Citizen Gold Award.She has a particular love of children and is extremely gentle in her approach to them. She is also very accepting of other animals including our dwarf rabbit (who sleeps in her bed), cockatiels (known to have landed on her head) cats and chickens. Yasmine is really a big cuddly teddy- bear pretending to a be a dog. She loves to roll around being tickled and her only vice is hogging the fire on a cold winter's night.
